1. About these terms

This website, teaktale.com, is operated by M/s Teak Tale, a partnership firm based in India ("Teak Tale", "we", "us"). By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you create an account, keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Products

  • All our products are made from MDF. Colours and finish can vary slightly from photos because of screen settings and lighting.
  • Sizes on product pages are approximate and may vary by a few millimetres.
  • DIY bases and cutouts are craft supplies. Children should use them under adult supervision.

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • We accept UPI, cards, net banking, wallets and, where shown, Cash on Delivery. Payments are processed by secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card details.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.

5. Discounts and offers

Discount codes, first-order offers and quantity discounts are subject to their stated conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Only one code can be used per order unless stated otherwise. We may cancel orders that misuse offers.

6. Orders and cancellation

An order is confirmed when we send the order confirmation. We may hold or cancel an order if our payment gateway flags it as suspicious, if the customer has refused an earlier delivery, if a Cash on Delivery order cannot be confirmed by phone after 2 attempts, if a product is unavailable, or if the address cannot be served. Any amount paid for an order cancelled by us is returned to the original payment method.

7. Customised products

For customised items, you are responsible for the spelling and details you enter. Please check them before placing the order, as customised items cannot be returned or exchanged. You confirm that any text or photo you send does not break any law or anyone else's rights.

8. Shipping, damage claims and refunds

Delivery is covered in our Shipping policy. Damage claims, cancellations and refunds are covered in our Return and refund policy. Both form part of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

All designs, photos, text, logos and other content on this site belong to Teak Tale or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or sell them without our written permission.

10. Use of the site

You agree not to misuse the site, including trying to gain unauthorised access, uploading harmful code, or posting false, offensive or unlawful reviews or content.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events outside our control such as courier delays, natural events or government restrictions.

12. Privacy

How we collect and use your information is described in our Privacy policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
